Placement evaluations are offered for those registering for our group classes. Placements are not required for private instruction.
If you have any prior French experience, we strongly recommend taking one to ensure you join the right level and get the most out of your course.
If you are an absolute beginner or have a little background, then there is no need to do a placement interview. You can simply sign up for level A1 Beginner 100 to begin your French language adventure.

2) Please email us at admin@afaustin.org to request a placement. This will be a short, informal conversation over Zoom to get to know you and your learning goals, figure out what teaching style is best for you, and assess what level you will be most comfortable in. Don’t worry, it’s not a test!
